Scavenger Hunt FORCED Opt-Out

Step 4: Click the Edit button for the Scavenger Hunt Plugin:




Step 5:

On the popup, click the Add Group link for the Except Members in the groups. If you have Who can view this plugin set to Everyone or Members & Staff, then this will be the only option under the dropdown.




Steps 6 and 7 - add in our new group. Your settings should now look like this:




You now have a method to where you can make it so certain members cannot participate:

Forced SH Opt-Out - makes it so Staff can prohibit members from participating. Members cannot opt-in on their own - it requires Staff to remove them from the group before they can participate again.
